Indoor Track Team Attains Varsity Status

Wed., Jan. 30, 1985

The Indoor Track team, which had competed as a club for the previous three years, officially began practice after the program finally received varsity status. The men's and women's teams practiced together, and five invitational meets were held throughout the season. Indoor track events were the same as outdoor events, with the exception of the shot-put ball being replaced with a rubber one as well as javelin and discus not taking place.
