Jazz Ensemble, Choir, and the Octals Perform

The Music Department presented a joint concert by the Dickinson College Choir, the Jazz Ensemble, and the Octals at 8:00pm in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. The ensembles performed Norman Dello Joio's "The Quest"; the traditional spirituals "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" (arr. Charles A. Ruzicka) and "Plenty Good Room!" (arr. William Henry Smith); Lewis F. Muir's "Waitin' for the Robert E. Lee" (arr. Lon Madsen); George and Ira Gershwin's "I Got Rhythm" (arr. Clay Warnick); Tom Scott's "Dirty Old Man" (arr. Paul Jennings); Jerome Richardson's "Groove Merchant" (arr. Dave Barduhn); Berry Gordy and Willie Hutch's "Hello Detroit" (arr. Dave Wolpe); Herbie Hancock's "Maiden Voyage" (arr. Mark Taylor); Jimmy Forrest's "Night Train" (arr. John Higgins); Sammy Nestico's "Pressure Cooker"; Bud Green, Les Brown, and Ben Homer's "Sentimental Journey" (arr. Dave Wolpe); and David Shire's "With You I'm Born Again" (arr. Bob Lowden).
