Jazz Ensemble Performs

The Music Department presented a concert by the Jazz Ensemble at 7:00pm in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. The program included selections from the following: Don Menza's "Groovin' Hard," Sammy Nestico's "Green Onions" and "Switch in Time," Frederick Loewe's "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face" (arr. Steven G. Strawley), Neal Heafty's "Splanky," Dave Wolpe's arrangements of "My Funny Valentine" and "You Do Something To Me," Thad Tones' arrangement of "Groove Merchant," Vince Norman's arrangement of "Don't Get Around Much Anymore," Lennie Niehaus' "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea," and Bill Potts' arrangement of "Oh Lawd, I'm On My Way."
