Jazz Ensemble Performs

The Music Department presented a concert by the Jazz Ensemble at 7:00pm in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium.  The ensemble performed Bill Potts' "Big Swing Face," David Raksin's "Laura" (arr. R. Raven), Edgar Sampson's "Stompin' at the Savoy" (arr. R. Raven), Neal Hefti's "Li'l Darlin'," Howard Rowe's "Heavy Duty," John Dilkey's "The Rufus Shuffle," W. Ron Mitchell's arrangement of "Almost Like Being in Love," Author Hamilton's "Cry Me a River" (arr. Jerry Nowak), Lennie Nihaus' "Royal Welcome," W.C. Handy's "Saint Louis Blues" (arr. Deane Kincaide), and Les Taylor's "Fudge Said The Judge."
