John Eaken Performs

The Music Department presented a faculty recital by violinist John Eaken, accompanied by pianist Gloria Whitney, at 8:15pm in the Rubendall Recital Hall. Eaken performed Antonin Dvorak's "Humoresque"; Johannes Brahms' "Hungarian Dance #2"; Franz Schubert's "Ave Maria"; Jules Massanet's "Meditation from 'Thies'"; Pablo de Sarasate's "Playera" and "Habañera"; Fritz Kreisler's "Caprice Viennoise", "Schön Rosmarin", "Liebeslied", "Liebesfried", and "Tambourin Chinoise"; Johann Sebastian Bach's "Air for the G String"; Felix Borowsky's "Adoration"; Franz Drdla's "Serenade"; Joachim Raff's "Cavatina"; and Frédéric Chopin's "Nocturne in E-flat Major".
