Junior Vocal and Flute Recital

The Department of Music presented soprano Elsa Riemer and flutist Karen Beck in their junior recital at 8:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Accompanied by Rebecca McDonald, they performed George Frederick Handel's "Ha l'inganno il suo diletto", Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Hands, Eyes, Heart" and "Silent Noon", Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Andante in C", Claude Debussy's "Syrinx", Jacques Ibert's "Piece", Peter Cornelius' "Die Hirten" and "Die Konige", John Jacob Niles' "Jesus, Jesus, Rest Your Head" and "What Songs were Sung", Ernest Bloch's "Suite Modale", and Camille Saint-Saens' "Une Flute Invisible".
