Music Department Presents Pops Concert

The Department of Music presented the College Choir and College-Community Orchestra in a pops concert at 3:00pm in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. They performed Jacques Offenbach's "Overture" from Orpheus in the Underworld"; Johann Strauss' "On the Beautiful Blue Danube" and "Tales from the Vienna Woods"; Julius Chajes' "Come and Dance with Me"; Truman Bullard's "Golden Glow of Evening" and "As We Weave Golden Straw"; Johannes Brahms' "Fair and Bright the Heavens Above", "Roses, all Blooming", "Brambles and Thorns", and "Dearest Swallow, Tiny Swallow"; Edmund Najera's "The Goldfinch" and "Oila Maruska"; and highlights from Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's My Fair Lady.
