Musicians of Swanne Alley Perform

The Department of Music presented the Musicians of Swanne Alley in a concert at 3:00pm in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. They performed the anonymously-written songs "El Bisson", "La Rocha el fuso", "Bonny Sweet Robin", "Gullims Dumpe", and "Watkins Ale"; Adrian Willaert's "O bene mio famm'uno favore"; Joan Maria Tasso's "Sopra la battaglia"; Giovanni Pacoloni's "Passemezzo/Padoana/Saltalerro della Desperata"; Filippo Azzaiolo's "Chi passa per 'sta strad'e"; Jacques Arcadelt's "Cosi mi guid'amore"; Arcadelt's "Cosi mi guid'amore"; Francesco Corteccia's "Guardane almo pastore"; Cipriano de Rore's "Non e ch'il duol"; Giovanni Cavaccio's "La Foresta" and "La Lafranchina"; Giovanni Ciacomo Gastoldi's "Vezzosette Ninfe e belle"; John Johnson's "Rogero" and "Passemezo moderno"; Richard Allison's "De la trumba" and "The Batchilers delight"; Thomas Morely's "La Tortorella" and "La Coranto"; Thomas Ravenscroft's "Ut re mi fa" and "A Round of three Country Dances in one"; Thomas Campion's "I care not for these ladies"; and Robert Parsons' "De la Court".
