Nicholson Resigns as Treasurer

James M. Nicholson, Treasurer of the College, resigned his position on Monday, October 15 in order to pursue career objectives outside of education. Nicholson was Vice-President for Business at Hiram College in Ohio for ten years before coming to Dickinson, and had earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics from Cornell College and complete graduate work at Harvard University. Assistant Treasurer Robert W. Belyea took over as acting treasurer until January 1, 1985. Until that point, Nicholson remained as a consultant on specific projects while administration searched for a replacement.
