Noonday Concert

The Music Department presented its fourth Noonday Concert of the 1990-1991 academic year at the Rubendall Recital Hall.  Students and faculty performed Frédéric Chopin's "Waltz in A-flat major, Op. 69, No. 1", Benjamin Britten's arrangement of the traditional County Donegal songs "Down by the Salley Gardens" and "The Gartan Mother's Lullaby", Johannes Brahms' "Sapphische Ode", Charles Gounod's "Faites-Lui Mes Aveux", Georg Philipp Telemann's "Allegro from the Sonata", Johann Christian Bach's "Allegro from the Concerto in C minor", Antonio Vivaldi's "Aria from Gloria", Franz Schubert's "Auf dem Strom, Op. 119, D. 943", Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's "Larghetto from the Concert in C minor", Mikhail Glinka's "The Flame of Desire is Burning in My Blood", and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's "Prileni Milovzora".
