Noonday Concert

The Music Department presented a Noonday Concert in Rubendall Recital Hall.  Students and faculty performed Wilfred Bob Roberts' arrangement of J. Pierpont's "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen"; Emily Crocker's arrangement "Songs of a Starry Night"; William Lester's arrangement of the old English tune "Oh, dear! What can the matter be?"; Gordon Jacob's "Sonatina"; John Jacob Niles' "I Wonder as I Wander"; Eric Thiman's "Madonna and Child"; Johannes Brahms' "Allegro Appassionato" from "Sonata in F minor, Op. 120, No. 1"; Frédéric Chopin's "Ballade in G minor, Op. 23"; Pietro Nardini's "Concerto in E minor for violin and piano"; George Frideric Handel's "I Know That My Redeemer Liveth"; Dave Barduhn's arrangement of Johnny Marks' "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer"; and John LaBarbera's arrangement of the traditional song "Jingle Bells".
