Noonday Concert

The Music Department presented a Noonday Concert in the Rubendall Recital Hall. Students and faculty performed Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro Overture" (trans. Lucien Calliet) and "String Quartet in C Major, K. 157"; Maria Theresia von Paradis' "Sicilienne" (arr. Allen Blank); Ludwig van Beethoven's "Quartet in G Major, op. 18, no. 2" (trans. Robert Frascotti), "Sonata No. 1, Mvt. 3," and "Sonata No. 4, Mvt. 1"; Russ Carere's "Rascal Rag"; Paul Hindemith's "Sonate: movement II: Langsam-Marsch-Beschluss"; David Raksin's "Laura" (arr. R. Raven); and W.C. Handy's "Saint Louis Blues" (arr. Deane Kincaide).
