Noonday Concert

The Music Department presented a Noonday Concert in the Rubendall Recital Hall. Faculty performed Gordon Jacob's "Sonatina for oboe and harpsichord," Katherine Hoover's "Kokopelli," Sergei Rachmaninoff's "I am not a prophet, op. 21, no. 11," Samuel Barber's "The Monk and his Cat," Johann Sebastian Bach's "Sarabande from suite for solo cello in D minor, BWV 1008" and "'Allemande' from Suite I for unaccompanied cello," Georges Bizet's "La fleur qie tu m'avais," Paul Steinberg's "Hexad," Pawel Kochanski and Karol Szymanowski's "Danse sauvage for violin and piano," Heitor Villa-Lobo's "Prelude no. 1," and Claude Debussy's "L'Isle joyeuse."
