Noonday Concert

The Department of Music presented a Noonday concert featuring students singing a program of nearly twenty songs: Giacomo Carissimi's "Deh,  Contentatevi"; Johann Sebastian Bach's "Komm in mein Herzens Haus"; Georg Friedrich Handel's "Verdi Prati", "O Sleep, why dost thou leave me?", and "Ombra Mai fu"; Thomas Arne's "Air from 'Comus'"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Deh vieni, non tardar", "Deh vieni alla finestra", "Durch Zartlichkeit", and "Vedrai, carino"; Franz Schubert's "Die Taubenpost" and "Die Forelle"; Robert Schumann's "Seit ich ihn gesehen"; Edvard Grieg's "In the Boat"; Gabriel Faure's "Au bord de l'eau" and "Mandoline"; Roger Quilter's "O mistress mine"; Hugo Weisgall's "Old love"; and Ned Rorem's "In a gondola".
