Noonday Concert

The Department of Music presented the eighth Noonday Concert of the 1981-1982 academic year in Memorial Hall. Students and faculty performed Thomas Morley's "Sing we and chant it" and "Now is the month of maying"; John Wilbye's "Flora gave me fairest flowers"; Franz Schubert's "Impromptu in A-flat Major"; Johann Sebastian Bach's "Adagio ma non tanto from Sonata in B Minor"; Modest Mussorgsky's "Within Four Walls" and "On the River"; Camille Saint-Saens' "Sonata for Oboe and Piano"; Heitor Villa-Lobos' Prelude 2" and "Prelude 5"; and Charles Ives' "Those Evening Bells", "Romanzo di Central Park", and "Songs my Mother Taught Me".
