Parents Day Concert

The Music Department presented a Parents Day concert featuring the College-Community Orchestra, the Dickinson College Choir, the Dickinson Singers, and the Dickinson Jazz Ensemble at 11:00am in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. The ensembles performed Sammy Nestico's arrangement of Arthur Herzog, Jr. and Billie Holiday's "God Bless the Child"; Mark Taylor's "Brass Machine"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Ave verum corpus"; Felix-Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's "Die Nachtigall"; Peter Wilhousky's arrangement of "Battle Hymn of the Republic"; and "Prelude and Siciliana", "Gli aranci olezzano", "Alfio's Song and Chorus", "Inneggiamo il Signor", "Intermezzo", and "Chorus and Drinking Song" from Pietro Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana.
