Pieces in the Parlour

The Music Department presented "Pieces in the Parlour," a concert featuring the Brass Choir, the Woodwind Trio, and the Handbell Choir, at 7:00pm in Memorial Hall.  The ensembles performed Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina's "Laudate Dominum", Giovanni Gabrieli's "Canzon Seconda", three pieces from George Frideric Handel's The Water Music, Hermann Regner's "Zur Begrüßung", Giles Farnaby's "His Humour", B. Burroughs' "Celebration Fanfare", D. Wagner's "Gigue", J. Wilson's arrangement of the spiritual "Kum Ba Yah", Alexander Scriabin's "Fuga", and F. Van Doren's "Bagatelle for Brass Quartet" and "Sousa's Revenge".
