Senior Vocal Recital

The Music Department presented a senior vocal recital by mezzo-soprano Sara Lindenberg, accompanied by pianists Kee Mann Chang and Truman Bullard, at 3:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall.  Lindenberg performed Samuel Barber's "Sure on this Shining Night" and "The Secrets of the Old"; Ned Rorem's "O You Whom I Often and Silently Come"; Celius Dougherty's "Love in the Dictionary"; Johannes Brahms' "Thérèse", "Sapphische Ode", and "Wie Melodien zieht es mir"; Charles Gounod's "Faites-lui mes aveux"; Henri du Parc's "Soupir"; Ernest Chausson's "Le Colibri" and "Le Charme"; Gabriel Fauré's "Mai"; Gabriel García Lorca's arrangements of the Spanish folk songs "Las morillas de Jaén", "Nana de Sevilla", and "El café de Chinitas"; Harold Arlen's "A Sleepin' Bee", "The Man that Got Away", "Come Rain or Come Shine", and "Stormy Weather"; Cole Porter's "My Heart Belongs to Daddy", "Do I Love You", "In the Still of the Night", and "From This Moment On"; and Ed Lojeski's arrangement of "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy".
