Senior Vocal Recital

The Music Department presented a senior recital by mezzo-soprano Katherine Presnell, accompanied by pianists Kee Mann Chang and Truman Bullard and flutist Jen Somerwitz, at 7:30pm in Rubendall Recital Hall.  Presnell performed Johann Sebastian Bach's "Ich folge dir gleichfalls"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Deh, per questo istante" and "Voi che sapete"; Fanny Mendelssohn's "Schwanenlied" and "Du bist die Ruh"; Clara Schumann's "Liebst du um Schönheit", "Die stille Lotosblume", "Ich stand in dunklen Träumen", and "Er ist gekommen in Sturm und Regen"; Claude Debussy's "La Flûte de Pan", "La Chevelure", and "Le Tombeau des Naïades"; Vincent Persichetti's "Out of the Morning"; John Duke's "Be Still As You Are Beautiful"; Aaron Copland's "Heart, We Will Forget Him"; and Jerome Kern's "Why Do I Love You?", "Make Believe", "You Are Love", "Bill", and "Can't Help Lovin' That Man".
