Senior Vocal Recital

The Music Department presented a senior recital from tenor Derek Lui, accompanied by pianists Kee Mann Chang and David Glasgow, at 3:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall.  Lui performed Francis Pilkington's "Underneath a Cypress Tree"; John Dowland's "Flow not so fast, ye Fountains"; Philip Rosseter's "When Laura smiles"; Henry Purcell's "Music for a while"; Robert Schumann's "Leis, rudert' hier..." and "Wenn durch die Piazetta..."; Emile Paladilhe's "Psyche"; George Hüe's "J'ai pleuré en rêve"; Gaetano Donizetti's "Me voglio fa 'na casa"; George Frideric Handel's "Verdi prati"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Un marito, o Dio, vorresti"; Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Some Enchanted Evening" and "If I Loved You"; Lerner and Loewe's "Almost Like Being In Love"; Allen and Robinson's "The House I Live In"; and a medley of the songs "Graceful and Easy", "Mavourneen", "Aura Lee", "Oh! How I Miss Her", "You Tell Me Your Dream", and "My Evaline".
