Senior Vocal Recital

The Music Department presented a senior recital by tenor Robert Burlington, accompanied by pianist Kee Mann Chang, at 8:15pm in the Rubendall Recital Hall. Burlington performed Gabriel Fauré's "Nell", "Aurore", and "Fleur jetée"; Claude Debussy's "Nuit d'Etoiles", "Beau Soir", and "Clair de Lune"; Maurice Ravel's "Chanson de la Mariée", "Là-bas, vers l'église", and "Tout gai!"; Francis Poulenc's "Chanson d'Orkenise", "Hôtel", and "Sanglots"; Samuel Barber's "Dover Beach"; Ivor Gurney's "Orpheus", "Tear", and "Under the Greenwood Tree"; Benjamin Britten's "The Birds", "How sweet the answer", and "Oliver Cromwell"; Herbert Howells' "O, My Deir Hert"; Ralph Vaughan Williams' "The Lamb"; and C.V. Stanford's "The Fairy Lough" and "Cuttin' Rushes".
