Senior Vocal Recital

The Music Department presented a senior recital by mezzo-soprano Lisa Plumley, accompanied by pianist Robert Felstein, at 7:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall.  Plumley performed Henry Purcell's "Music for Awhile", "Nymphs and Shepherds", and "Sweeter than Roses"; Robert Schumann's "Widmung" and "Intermezzo"; Franz Schubert's "Ständchen"; Johannes Brahms' "Die Mainacht" and "Von ewiger Liebe"; Fernando Obradors' "¿Corazón, porqué pasáis...?", "El majo celoso", and "Chiquitita la Novia"; Samuel Barber's "A Slumber Song of the Madonna", "Strings in the Earth and Air", "Rain Has Fallen", and "Beggar's Song"; and Hall Johnson's arrangement of the spiritual "Ride On, King Jesus".
