Senior Vocal Recital

The Music Department presented a senior recital by soprano Carrie Brown and mezzo-soprano Dana Hackett, accompanied by pianist Kee Mann Chang, at 3:00pm in the Rubendall Recital Hall. Brown and Hackett performed Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's "Herbstlied"; Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Pie Jesu"; Antonio Vivaldi's "Nulla in Mundo Pax Sincera"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Batti, Batti, o bel Masetto", "Zeffiretti Lusinghieri", and "Non So Più Cosa Son"; Johann Sebastian Bach's "Bist Du Bei Mir"; George Frideric Handel's "Care Selve"; Robert Schumann's "Widmung" and "Die Lotosblume"; Clara Schumann's "Liebst du um Schönheit"; Franz Schubert's "Die Forelle"; Tosti's "L'Ultimo Bacio", "Non T'Amo Più", "'A Vucchella", and "L'Ultima Canzone";James Miller's "Ye Banks and Braes O' Bonnie Doon"; Thomas Rodgers' arrangement of the traditional tune "Skye Boat Song"; Carl Strommen's arrangement of the traditional tune "Danny Boy"; Larry Grossman's "Mama A Rainbow"; Jerome Kern's "Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man"; Stephen Schwartz's "Meadowlark"; and Offenbach's "Belle Nuit".
