The Music Department presented a faculty recital by organist Shirley S. King at 4:00pm at the First United Church of Christ. King performed Alexandre Guilmant's "Preludio (Sonata in C minor) op. 56," Johann Sebastian Bach's "Passacaglia in C minor, BWV 582," Felix Mendelssohn's "Sonata III, op. 65, no. 3," Vincent Persichetti's "Chorale Prelude: Give Peace, O God," Max Reger's "BEnedictus, op. 59, no. 9," Seth Bingham's "Rhythmic Trumpet," Andrew Clarke's "Pastorale Dance on Simple Gifts," Dale Woods' "In Thee Is Gladness," and Jean Langlais' "Alleluia (for organ pedals)."
