Stefan Burkhardt Performs

The Music Department presented a recital by pianist Stefan Burkhardt at 8:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall, sponsored by the Cecil Andrew and Adeleine Ewing Fund.  Johann Sebastian Bach's "Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue"; Robert Schumann's "Fantasia in C Major, Op. 17"; Johannes Brahms' "Variations on a Theme by Schumann in F# minor, Op. 9"; and Franz Liszt, Sigsmond Thalberg, Johann Peter Pixis, Heinrich Herz, Carl Czerny, and Frédéric Chopin's "Hexameron: Six Variations on the March from Vincenzo Bellini's I Puritani".
