Symphonic Band and Brass Ensemble Present Holiday Concert

The Music Department presented a holiday concert by the Symphonic Band and the Brass Ensemble at 8:15pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. The ensembles performed M.A. Charpentier's "Prelude du Te Deum", Johannes Hanssen's "Valdres March", Harold Walters' "Christmas Suite", Johnny Marks' "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer", the traditional song "Go, Tell It On the Mountain", Henry's arrangement of Herbert's "March of the Toys", Nestico's arrangement of Hanby's "Up on the Housetop", Wilke Renwick's "Dance", Arcangelo Corelli's "Pastorale", Frackenpohl's arrangement of Styne and Cahn's "Let It Snow", Warren Barker's arrangement of "Here We Come A-Wassailing", and Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride". The ensembles also led the audience in a sing-along including "Jolly Old St. Nicholas", "Jingle Bells", "The First Noel", "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear", "Joy to the World", and "Silent Night".
