Symphonic Band Performs

The Music Department presented a concert by the Symphonic Band at 4:00pm in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. The band performed Joseph Willcox Jenkins' "American Overture for Band," Leroy Anderson's "Belle of the Ball" and "Bugler's Holiday"," Cesar Franck's "Le Chasseur Maudit" (arr. D.W. Stauffer), Frank Ticheli's "Shenandoah," Alexander Arutiunian's "Concerto for trumpet and band" (ed. Burrucker), Donald Phillips' "Trumpet Fiesta" (arr. Steven G. Strawley), and Howard Shore's "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" (arr. Jerry Brubaker).
