Symphonic Band Performs with Carlisle Town Band

The Dickinson College Symphonic Band and the Carlisle Town Band presented a concert celebrating Patrick S. Gilmore at 7:30pm in the Weiss Center for the Arts. The program included Jimmy Carroll's arrangement of "Dixie", Theodore Tobani's arrangements of "Gems of Stephen Foster" and of Beethoven's "Egmont Overture", George Biegel's arrangement of Theodore Metz's "Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight", L.P. Laurendeau's arrangement of Strauss' "Blue Danube", King Stacy's "Rampage of the Old Grey Mare", Peter J. Wilhousky's "Battle Hymn of the Republic", and M.C. Meyrelles' arrangement of Rossini's "William Tell Overture".
