The Music Department presented the Dickinson Twentieth-Century Music Ensemble's "A Concert of Twentieth-Century Music, Featuring Vocal Music by Dickinson Faculty Member J. Mark Stambaugh" at 8:00pm at the Rubendall Recital Hall.  The ensemble performed David Ashley White's "Six Miniatures for Three Players", Paul Hindemith's "Kanonische Sonatine", Arnold Schoenberg's "Sechs Kleine Klavierstucke, Op. 19", Alban Berg's "View Stucke fur Klarinette und Klavier, Nos. 1 and 2", Henry Cowell's "Six Casual Developments for Clarinet and Piano", Ernst Krenek's "Monologue for Clarinet Solo", Andre Jolivet's "Sonatine", Gian-Carlo Menotti's "Lullaby", Charles Ives' "Memories", Alan Hovhaness' "On Sacred Ground", Henri Martelli's "Waltz", Jean Francaix's "Canon a l'octave", Igor Stravinsky's "Epitaphium", Luigi Zaninelli's "Winter Music".  The program also featured vocal music by J. Mark Stambaugh, including "Tyger", "In His Youth Urshanabi", "There, the heated streets", "I feel sick", "Shall we save her?", "This tender night", "Love, how strange", "The Phoenix", "Flames, find me", "The morning is always the same to me", "Boats that have never known the sea", "A jewel's fire", and "When I smell the fragrant air of Paris".
