The Music Department presented a Noonday Concert in Rubendall Recital Hall. Students and faculty performed Handel and Halvorsen's "Passacaglia for Violin and Viola", Steve Reich's "Clapping Music", Steven Mercier's "Four Photographs of France", Arthur Frackenpohl's "Licorice Licks", and Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn's "Let It Snow!" (arr. Frackenpohl).
The Music Department presented "Liebeslieder Waltzes and Other Love Songs by Johannes Brahms," a concert by tenor Jeffrey Fahnestock, at 3:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Fahnestock performed Brahms' "Fünf Lieder, Op. 106", "Lieder und Gesänge, Op. 57", "Duette, Op. 28", and "Liebeslieder Walzer, Op. 52".
The Music Department presented "A Concert Honoring Johannes Brahms: Life, Death and Music in the Centennial Year of His Death," a concert featuring the College-Community Orchestra and the College Choir, at 8:00pm in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. The ensembles performed Brahms' "Academic Festival Overture, Op. 80", "Nenia, Op. 82", and "Piano Concerto #1 in D minor, Op. 15".

The band performed Frank Erickson's "Scherzo for Band", Howard Hanson's "Chorale and Alleluia", Robert W. Smith's arrangement of the traditional piece "'Twas in the Moon of Wintertime", David R. Holsinger's "On a Hymnsong of Robert Lowry", Girolamo Frescobaldi's "Preambuluna an Canzona" (arr. Justin Gray), William E. Rhoads' "Puerto Alegre", and Karl L. King's "The Trombone King" (ed. John P. Paynter).
The Music Department presented "Music by Women Composers from Hildegard to Hensel," a concert by soprano Rosa Lamoreaux, piano and harpsichord player Laura Ward, and early bowed strings player Tina Chancey, at 8:15pm in Memorial Hall.

The orchestra performed George Frideric Handel's "Concerto Grosso No. 7, Op. 6 in B flat Major", Richard Wagner's "Siegfried Idyll", Michael P. Twomey's "Fantasia on a Theme by John Lennon", and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Sinfonia Concertante in E flat Major, K. 364".
The Music Department presented a faculty recital by cellist Nancy Baun, accompanied by pianist Gloria Whitney, at 8:15pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Baun performed Johannes Brahms' "Sonata in E minor, Op. 38, No. 1", "Cradle Song", and "Sonata in F Major, Op. 99, No. 2".
The Eaken Piano Trio presented "An Evening of Brahms" at 8:15pm in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. The trio performed Johannes Brahms' "Trio in C Major, Op. 87, no. 3" and "Trio in A minor, Op. 114".
The Music Department presented a concert by the College Choir at Coolfont Resort in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia at 2:00pm. The choir performed Ralph Vaughan Williams' "O How Amiable Are Thy Dwellings" and "Just As the Tide Was Flowing", Aaron Copland's "Long Time Ago" and "At the River", Cole Porter's "Do I Love You?", and George Gershwin's "I Got Rhythm".
The Music Department held a celebration of the life and works of the late Fred Curtis Petty, Associate Professor Emeritus of Music, at 4:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Students and faculty performed musical selections and commemorated Petty through words and music.
The Music Department presented "An Afternoon of Music in Pastels," a concert featuring flutist Molly Eckman, harpist Samantha Witchen, and pianist Martini Lie, as part of the Eastman at Dickinson Recital Series at 3:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. The trio performed Charles Griffes' "Poem for flute and orchestra", Kazuo Fukishima's "Mei for solo flute", George Frideric Handel's "Serenade for Flute and Harp", Martini Lie's "Ballade for solo piano", and Eldin Burton's "Sonatina for flute and piano".
The Music Department presented a faculty recital by pianist Jennifer Blyth at 3:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Blyth performed Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Piano Sonata in F Major, K. 332", Alexander Scriabin's "Sonata — Fantasie no. 2", Ferrucio Busoni's "Chaconne in D minor", and Bill Dobbins' "Stylistic Variations on an Original Theme".

These included Jason Pease's "Indifference to Synthesis", Matthew D. Coburn's "Coalesce", Brian Denis' "Silver Shadows", J. Benjamin Ryan's "Pastoral", Mary Beth Horvath's "Unseen...", and Erik D. Michael's "Ode to Sunshine (You are my...)".

The Collegium performed Johann Sebastian Bach's "Cantata No. 196, Der Herr Denket an Uns" and "Motet No. 3: Jesu, meine Freude".
The Choir performed Gustav Mahler's "Symphony No. 2 for Soprano and Contralto Soloists, Chorus, and Orchestra in C minor, 'Resurrection'" with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra at 8:00pm on Sat., Apr. 26, and at 3:00pm on Sun., Apr. 27.
