The College Band and Concert Chorale gave a concert in Bosler Auditorium presented by the Department of Music. The band opened the show with Lloyd Ultan's "Red Devils March". The choir then sang Randall Thompson's arrangement of "The Lark in the Morn", Arthur Warrell's arrangement of "The Keys of My Heart", George Gershwin's "Summertime", Wayne Howorth's arrangement of "Deep River", Noble Cain's arrangement of "Peter, Go Ring Dem Bells", Thomas Weelkes' "Welcome, Sweet Pleasure", John Wilbye's "Adieu, Sweet Amaryllis", and Johannes Brahms' "Der Abend".
The Department of Music presented the Saint Matthew Passion: Part One by Johann Sebastian Bach at 8:45pm in the College Chapel. The Concert Chorale and the College Choir performed in this show along with guest artists Richard Hartman and Joan Frey. The English translation used in this performance was done in 1938 by Sir Edward Elgar and Ivor Adkins.

As part of the Music Department's Christmas Festival, the annual Christmas Carol Service was given at 11:10am in the College Chapel. The Concert Chorale performed the music for the service which included Praetorius's "Lo, How a Rose Upspringing", Franz Gruber's "Silent Night", and "Lullaby, Thou Little Child", Leontovitch's "Ring, Christmas Bells", and "Go Tell it on the Mountain", in addition to an assortment of hymns.
The Department of Music presented Amahl and the Night Visitors, an opera by Gian-Carlo Menotti, at 7:30pm in Fellowship Hall. The show was a part of the Music Department's Christmas Festival.

Katy Did, an original musical comedy by the Dickinson Follies, opened at 8:30pm. Based on Oliver Goldsmith's She Stoops to Conquer, the show ran from March 12-14.

The Mozart Concert-Opera Group performed Cosi Fan Tutte (Women are Like That), an opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, at 8:00pm in Bosler Hall. Founded in honor of Mozart's bicentennial, the group toured the country performing the opera in English.
Presented by the Department of Music, the College Choir gave their winter concert in the College Chapel at 8:15pm. Their program began with F. Melius Christiansen's "Beautiful Savior", William Byrd's "Ave Verum Corpus", and Pietro Yon's "Gesu Bambino". For the second section, the choir sang Gabriel Faure's "In Paradisum", Johannes Brahms "Cradle Song of the Virgin", and Randall Thompson's "The Last Words of David".
