Trustees appoint nine new faculty. The college chooses two graduate students for the new internship in student personnel. Two Freshmen Colloquiums investigate environmental problems. Eighteen Carlisle High School students will join the National Science Foundation funded LeTort Creek pollution project. Prof. H. Wade Seaford receives a Doctorate of Philosophy from Harvard University for his work on the effects of environment upon facial expression. Prof. William A. Harms receives a Doctorate of comparative literature from Indiana University. Students interested begin to organize a federally funded program on drug education.
