Music Groups Present "The Music of Bela Bartok "

An assortment of musicians on campus collaborated to present The Music of Bela Bartok at 3:00pm in the Holland Union Social Hall. The College Choir, under the direction of Truman Bullard, performed three Hungarian folk songs and four Slovak folk songs. Joseph Sobel and Malcolm Goldstein performed "Duets for two Violins". The Recorder Ensemble, coordinated by Daniel Bechtel, performed "Folk Settings for Recorder Ensemble". David Jenkins performed "Allegro Barbaro for Piano". Goldstein and Jenkins performed "Sonata for Violin and Piano (First Movement)".
