Noonday Concert

The Department of Music presented the sixth Noonday Concert of the 1975-1976 academic year in Memorial Hall. Students and faculty performed such pieces as Johannes Brahms' "Scherzo from Trio in E-flat"; Franz Schubert's "Impromptu in A-flat minor"; Alessandro Scarlatti's "Piu m'impiaga quel ciglio nero", "Quanto peni anima mia", and "Marmi adorati e cari"; Samuel Barber's "Sonata for Cello and Piano"; a quartet from Ludwig van Beethoven's Fidelio; Sergei Rachmaninoff's "Prelude in C-sharp minor"; and Joseph Jongen's "Elegy".
