Performers' Committee for Twentieth-Century Music Performs

The Performers' Committee for Twentieth-Century Music performed at 8:00pm in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. Their program highlighted music of the twentieth century: Elliott Carter's "Voyage"; Carl Ruggles' "Largo", "Andante con fantasia", "Moderato appassionato", and "Adagio sostenubo"; Arnold Schoenberg's "Sommermud", "Tot", and "Madchenlied"; Seymour Shifrin's "The Modern Temper"; Henry Cowell's "Tiger", "Floating", "Aeolian Harp", "The Tides of Manaunaun", and "Advertisement"; John Cage's "Aria" and "And the Earth Shall Bear Again"; Mario Davidovsky's "Synchronisms"; and Charles Ives' "Three Quarter-Tone Pieces for Two Pianos".
