Southern District Orchestra Festival Concert

The Pennsylvania Music Educators Association and the Department of Music presented the Southern District High School Orchestra Festival, which ran January 13-15 and ended in a concert. The program for this concert included Johannes Brahms' "Academic Festival Overture", Arcangelo Corelli's "Concerto Grosso in C-minor", Alan Hovahness' "Mysterious Mountain (Symphony 2)", Giovanni Gabrieli's "Canzona Quarti Toni", Charles Ives' "The Unanswered Question", Ralph Vaughan Williams' "English Folk Song", and Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures from an Exhibition".
