Noonday Concert

The Department of Music presented the eleventh Noonday Concert of the 1976-1977 academic year in Memorial Hall. Students and faculty performed such pieces as Ludwig van Beethoven's "Presto from Sonata in D Major"; Cristoph Willibald Gluck's "Che fiero momento" from Orfeo ed Euridice; Francis Poulenc's "Timor et tremor", "Vinea mea electa", and "Tenebrae factae sunt"; Johann Sebastian Bach's "Allegro from Concerto in A Minor"; Gustav Mahler's "Rheinlegendchen" and "Wer hat das Liedlein erdacht?"; Richard Hewson's "El Nino y el mar", "Cante Hondo", and "Danza"; and Claude Debussy's "Pagodes".
