The Department of Music presented the first Noonday Concert of the 1978-1979 academic year. Commemorating the tenth anniversary of Noonday Concerts, the program included Sigismund Neukomm's "Fanfare for Four Trumpets"; Johann Joachim Quantz's "Trio Sonata in C Major"; Johann Sebastian Bach's "Cello Suite No. 1"; Ralph Vaughn-Williams' "The Call", "I Got Me Flowers", and "Love Bade Me Welcome"; and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Luci care, luci belle", "Se lontan ben mio tu sei", and "Divertimento".
