Music Department Presents "An Afternoon of Love Songs"

The Department of Music presented the College Choir and Chamber Choir in "An Afternoon of Love Songs" in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. They sang John Wilbye's "Thus saith my Cloris bright", "Lady, your words do spight me", and "Draw on, sweet night"; Thomas Weelkes' "Hark! All ye Lovely Saints Above"; Johannes Brahms' "The Harp Resounds with Wild Refrain", "Song from Twelfth Night", "The Gardner", "Song from Fingal", "Wie Melodien zieht es mir", "On Eternal Love", "In Stiller Nacht", and "Da unten im Tale"; Franz Schubert's "Du bist die Ruh", "Thr Young Nun", and "Grillparzer"; Bela Bartok's "Wedding Song", "Song of the Hayharvesters", and "Dancing Song"; and Jerome Kern's "All the Things You Are".
