Senior Vocal Recital

Soprano Barbara Dobbs performed in her senior recital at 8:00pm in Memorial Hall. Accompanied by pianist Suzanne Polley, Dobbs sang Johannes Ciconia's "O Rosa Bella"; Guillaume Dufay's "Vergene Bella"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Un Moto di Gioja"; Franz Joseph Haydn's "And God said" and "With Verdure Clad" from The Creation; Charles Gounod's "The King of Thule" and "Jewel Song" from Faust; Sergei Rachmaninof's "The Morn of Life"; Ralph Vaughnn-Williams' "Infant Joy", "The Divine Image", and "Eternity" from Ten Blake Songs; Aaron Copland's "Why do they shut me out of Heaven?", "Heart, we will forget him", and "When they come back" from Twelve Poems of Emily Dickinson; and John Cage's "The Wonderful Window of Eighteen Springs".
