John Eaken Performs

The Department of Music presented violinist John Eaken in a faculty recital at 8:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Accompanied by Susan Eaken on piano, he played Guiseppe Tartini's "Variations on a theme of Corelli"; Ludwig van Beethoven's "The Spring"; Eugene Ysaye's "Sonata for violin solo"; Bela Bartok's "Joc cu Bata", "Braul", "Pe Loc", "Buciumeana", "Poarga Romaneasca", and "Maruntel"; Fritz Kreisler's "Love Song" and "Viennese Caprice"; and Pablo de Sarasate's "Gypsy Melodies".
