Flute Repertory Class Performs

The Department of Music presented students of the Flute Repertory class in a concert at 5:45pm in Memorial Hall. They played George F. Handel's Aria and "Sonata in G Minor"; Johann Sebastian Bach's "March", "Sonata in E-flat Major", and "Suite in B Minor"; Thomas Morley's "Bicinium; Johann Christoph Pez's "Minuet"; the anonymously-written piece "Gavotte en Rondeau"; David Fried's "If"; Franz Joseph Haydn's "Serenade"; Georg Philipp Telemann's "Sonatina in F Major"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Concerto in D Major"; Ludwig van Beethoven's "Sonata in G Major"; Henry Purcell's "Strike the Viol"; Claude Bolling's "Baroque and Blue"; Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach's "Sonata in A Minor"; Claude Debussy's "Syrinx"; Paul Hindemith's "Acht Stucke"; Elizabeth Lutyens' "Variations for Solo Flute"; and Wilhelm Bernhard Molique's "Concerto in D Minor".
