Harrisburg Civic Opera Association Presents "Salute to the Stars"

The Harrisburg Civic Opera Association presented Salute to the Stars, an opera gala, at 8:00pm in the Weiss Center for the Arts. The gala was held to raise funds for the Royal Opera Station in downtown Harrisburg. The program featured excerpts from Strauss' Die Fledermaus; Gilbert and Sullivan's The Gondoliers; Nicolai's The Merry Wives of Windsor; Cimarosa's The Secret Marriage; Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, The Impressario, and Don Giovanni; Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana, Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffman, Floyd's Susannah, and Puccini's Madama Butterfly.
