1987 Spring Jazz Concert

The Department of Music presented the Jazz Ensemble in a concert with the Millersville University Jazz Ensemble at 8:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. The Millersville ensemble played Bricusse and Newley's "What Kind of Fool Am I?", Duke Ellington's "Do Nuthin' Till You Hear From Me", Benny Golson's "Killer Joe", Jerome Richardson's "Groove Merchant", Victor Schertzinger's "Tangerine", Don Ellis' "The Last Triangle of Lord Boogie", Chick Corea's "Spain", Louis Prima's "Sing, Sing, Sing", and Ken McCoy's "Pequenos Reyes". The Dickinson ensemble played Charlie Parker's "Chi Chi", Don Sebesky's "Full Count", Matt Harris' "Taylor Made", Hoagy Carmichael's "Georgia on my Mind", Sammy Nestico's "Pressure Cooker", Carole King's "Corazon", and a tribute to Duke Ellington.
