Choir and Orchestra Give Lenten Concert

The Department of Music presented the Chamber Choir and the Chamber Orchestra and Brass Ensemble in a Lenten concret at 4:00pm at St. John's Episcopal Church in Ellicott City, Maryland. They performed Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Serenade in C Major"; Charles Ives' The Unanswered Questions; Gabriel Faure's "Elegie for solo cello and orchestra"; Giovanni Gabrieli's "Canzon duodecimi toni"; Truman Bullard's "Laud to the Nativity", "Laud to the Good Shepherd", and "Laud to the Resurrection"; William Byrd's "Look down, O Lord...Be Unto Me a Tower"; Orlando di Lasso's "Tristis est anima mea"; Ivor R. Davies; Buffy Arnold's "Noah's Prayer"; and Ralph Vaughan Williams' "O How Amiable".
