1988 Spring Symphonic Band Concert

The Department of Music presented the Symphonic Band in the spring concert at 3:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. They played the National Anthem, John Philip Sousa's "Semper Fidelis", Gustav Holst's "First Suite in Eb for Military Band", Vincent Persichetti's "Psalm for Band, Op. 53", Camille Saint-Saens' "March Militaire Francaise (Finale from Algerian Suite)", Daniel Speer's "Sonata from Die Bankelsangerlieder", Ralph Lehman's "Exultation", Lew Pollack's "That's a Plenty", Charles Ives' "Variations on Jerusalem the Golden", Thelonious Monk's "'Round Midnight", and George Gershwin's "Porgy and Bess". They were accompanied by the Lancaster Brass Quintet.
