Flute Repertory Class

The Music Department presented a flute repertory class at 5:00pm in the Rubendall Recital Hall.  The group performed Georg Friedrich Handel's "Menuet", "Bourrée in G Major for Baroque flute", and "Sonata in A Minor"; Johann Sebastian Bach's "Minuet" and "Sonata in C Major"; Jean-Baptiste Loeillet's "Allegro"; Philip Glass' "Adagio and Capriccioso from Serenade for Solo Flute"; Claude Bolling's "Irlandaise from Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano"; Jean-Jacques Naudot's "Two Minuets"; Georg Philipp Telemann's "Scherzando" and "Fantasy in G Minor for solo flute"; Sergei Rachmaninoff's "Vocalise"; Paul Hindemith's "Munter from Canonic Sonata for two flutes"; Claude Debussy's "Syrinx"; and Friedrich Kuhlau's "Divertissement in D Major for solo flute".
