1991 Winter Jazz Concert

The Music Department presented the Jazz Ensemble's eleventh annual Winter Jazz Concert at 8:00pm in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium.  The ensemble performed Dave Wolpe's arrangement of Duke Ellington, Irving Mills, and Juan Tizol's "Caravan"; Matt Harris' "Up For Air"; a medley of compositions by Duke Ellington, Irving Mills, Manny Kurtz, and Albany Bigard titled "Tribute to the Duke"; Dave Wolpe's arrangement of Lorenz Hart and Richard Rodgers' "Isn't It Romantic?"; Roger Holmes' arrangement of Jerome Kern and Dorothy Fields' "The Way You Look Tonight"; Frank Mantooth's "Judge and Jury"; Phil Woods' arrangement of Benny Carter's "Just a Mood"; Phil Woods' arrangement of Tom Harrell's "Viable Blues"; and Phil Woods' "Reets Nest", "Quill", "My Man Benny", and "Goodbye Mr. Evans".
