Flute Repertory Class

The Music Department presented a flute repertory class at 5:00pm in the Rubendall Recital Hall.  The flutists performed Georg Philipp Telemann's "Vivace from Trio Sonata in G major" and "Spirituoso from Canonic Sonata in D major for two flutes", Alice Gomez's "Peruvian Dance Suite", Johann Sebastian Bach's "Rondo, Polonaise, and Badinerie from Suite in B minor" and "Allegro from Sonata in E-flat major", Stuart K. Hine's "How Great Thou Art", the traditional Irish melody "Be Thou My Vision", William M. Runyan's "Great is Thy Faithfulness", William H. Doane's "To God Be the Glory", Christoph Willibald Gluck's "Minuet and Dance of the Blessed Spirits from Orfeo", Sigfrid Karg-Ehlert's "Velocissimo e brillante from Thirty Caprices for Flute Alone", Leopold Fuhrmann's "Chorea Anglica", and Ludwig van Beethoven's "Adagio cantabile and Minuet from Grand Trio, Op. 87".
