Noonday Concert

The Music Department presented its first Noonday Concert of the 1991-1992 academic year at Rubendall Recital Hall. Students and faculty performed Ernst Bloch's "Two Movements from Suite Modale"; Johannes Brahms' "Sonata in E minor No. 1, Op. 38"; Claude Debussy's "The Girl with the Flaxen Hair"; Manuel de Falla's "Homenaje pour la Tombeau de Claude Debussy"; Leo Brouwer's "Homenaje a Falla"; Eric Henry's "Tuba for Two" and "Ain't She Sweet"; Jean-Philippe Rameau's "Allemande", "Gigue en Rondeau", "Musette en Rondeau", and "Tambourin"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Das Veilchen", "Abendempfindung", and "Als Luise die Briefe ihres ungetreuen Liebehabers verbrannte"; and selections from Johann Sebastian Bach's "Sonata No. 3 in A minor for unaccompanied violin".
